tryptamine_triumph I was introduced to Mei Ehara through her feature of Faye Webster's last album. I am so, so glad that I found Ampersands. it's legitimately fun to listen to and she and her band are incredibly talented musicians. I'm very much looking forward to future releases.

Plus, she made a bassoon feature work. In a pop album. This album is truly something else. Favorite track: 不確か.

Davis MacLeod Haines i love the charm and blasé of this record. so mellow, so unassuming, so groovy. Favorite track: 昼間から夜.

World of Echo Mellow pop with some old-school R&B-influenced instrumentation and some soft rock vibes.

Scott Whittaker This delightful record is cozy and intimate, with a 70s vibe from from Mei Ehara's impossibly pure singing and the live-sounding recording.... though the guitar playing is too warped to sound like a throwback.

Gyldaria Tanogen Super smooth beats, funky basslines, and heavenly vocals. Really great album and I'm glad I dug through Bandcamp to find it.

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
